Privacy Policy

This explains what information BrandSlide collects, why, and how it's handled. It covers the actual BrandSlide app — not any third-party sites you might reach by clicking a link away from it.

What we collect

Account info: your email address and password when you sign up. Passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) — we never see or store your password in plain text.

Brand content: whatever you enter or upload while building a brand guide — brand name, description, colours, fonts, logos, images, guidelines, and similar. This is the core content of the product, so it's stored so you can come back to it.

Uploaded files: logo, font, and image files you upload are stored in our file storage provider under your account.

Anonymous trial sessions: if you use "See how it works" without signing up, we create a temporary anonymous account so your trial brand can autosave. If you don't convert it into a real account, that trial account — and any brand/files under it — is automatically deleted after 3 days.

Basic usage analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, a first-party, cookieless page-view analytics tool. It doesn't use tracking cookies or build cross-site profiles of you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run BrandSlide, each only processing what they need to do their job:

• Supabase — our database, file storage, and authentication provider. Your account and brand data live here.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (signup confirmation, password reset). It only sees your email address and the email content, not your brand data.
• Vercel — hosts the app and runs the analytics described above.

Share links are public by default

Each brand has a share link (/share/:id and /print/:id) that, by default, anyone with the URL can view — no account or login required. We don't currently offer a way to password-protect or expire a share link. Only content you've chosen to put in a brand you've shared is exposed this way — private (non-shared) brands aren't accessible to anyone but you.

Cookies

We use a session cookie set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in. It's required for the app to function and isn't used for tracking or advertising. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and brand data for as long as your account exists. Anonymous trial data is deleted automatically after 3 days if never converted into a real account. If you delete a brand yourself, it's removed immediately.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any brand yourself at any time from the dashboard. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to ask what data we hold about you, email privacy@brandslide.app. We don't yet have a fully automated self-service account deletion flow — we'll handle it manually and promptly.

Children

BrandSlide isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
