Terms of Service

BrandSlide ("BrandSlide", "we", "us") provides a tool for storing brand assets, generating a brand guideline deck, and sharing or downloading that deck. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BrandSlide. By creating an account or using BrandSlide, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service is in beta

BrandSlide is an early-stage product (you'll see a "BETA" label around the app). Features, limits, and pricing may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or have bugs. We'll do our best to avoid data loss, but you're responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important — the "Download Brand" button exports your brand data as a JSON file at any time for this reason.

Your account

You need an account to save and manage brands. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You can also try BrandSlide without an account via an anonymous trial session — see our Privacy Policy for how trial data is handled.

Free plan limits

The Free plan currently allows up to 5 brands and a maximum of 3MB per uploaded file. Paid plans with higher limits are planned but not yet available. We may adjust these limits over time.

Your content

You own the brand names, logos, colours, fonts, images, and other content you upload or create in BrandSlide ("your content"). We don't claim ownership over it. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you — for example, rendering your deck, or showing it on a share link you've created.

You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload (logos, fonts, images, etc.) and for how you use it. Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to use.

Share links are public by default

Every brand has an "is_public" share link (/share/:id and /print/:id) that, by default, is viewable by anyone who has the URL — no login required, and currently no password or expiry option. Before sharing a link, make sure you're comfortable with anyone who has it being able to view that brand guide.

Acceptable use

Please don't use BrandSlide to: break the law; upload malware or harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' accounts or data; scrape, overload, or disrupt the service; or upload content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes on someone else's intellectual property or privacy.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using BrandSlide and request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing privacy@brandslide.app.

No warranty, limitation of liability

BrandSlide is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of BrandSlide after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
